'Home from Home' - After School Club

Home from Home

Update following the Government's decision to 'lockdown' the country from 5th January 2021 - we are keeping Home from Home OPEN & AVAILABLE every day (Monday - Friday) because there is still a need for places from Key Worker parents. This is in line with Government guidelines. We will review this on a weekly basis.

Home from Home offers after school childcare, Monday to Friday, from 3.15 until 5.00. The cost per session is just £2.50 - this is fantastic value for nearly 2 hours of care.

There are places for 12 children per session. The Club is run by Mrs Hunter.

The Club is a fabulous resource for parents with work or study commitments, which may mean that you need care for your child after lessons finish.

The focus of ‘Home from Home’ is on providing a comfortable, cosy, safe place, where the children can relax and play. There’ll be art, drawing, puzzles, books, board games, iPads, lego, modelling (plasticine), and occasional trips outdoors! The children are consulted on what activities they'd like, on a day to day basis.

The children should bring a snack and a drink.

The Club will is based in our Community Room, and the children also have scheduled access to the hall, the Computer Suite and  - if the weathers good - to the playground, field or our 'quadrangle' garden area.
