Earlier this month we held Stay Healthy and Be Safe themed week.
We
had lots of brilliant activities and workshops planned. These
included a visit from the cricketers at Durham Dynamos, PC Hewitt a
police officer from Sunderland, footballers from Newcastle and
Sunderland Ladies, and the School Nurse who worked with children and
discussed healthy eating.
Julie Booth (Miss Booth’s Mum) also talked
to the Foundation and Key Stage 1 children about basic First Aid.
Last but certainly not least, we held our fantastic ‘Olympic themed
Sports Day’.
Although this year’s Sports Day had a slightly more
competitive feel, the emphasis was still ‘fun for all!’ Thankyou to
all the parents and carers that came along to support their children
(even in the rain).
Also a big thankyou to everyone who helped
throughout the week. |
