Some of our year 6 children recently decided to write their own play! It’s called Wizards of Grangetown Place (based on the TV show Wizards of Waverley Place).

The pupils have recently met Sue Charnley, a teacher involved in the performing arts, to start the process of producing the play.

Though the script is ready, the children have decided to put production on hold until after their SATs. Then, the plan is to produce this as a Play in a Day - in other words the cast will work all day to rehearse before performing a 10-15 minute piece for the whole school in assembly!
