Our E-Twinning Project - Noticias TV

E-Twinning

Year 6 are working on their project ‘eTwinning Noticias TV: We are active citizen journalists’ with our friends from ‘Colegio la Enseñanza’ (Valladolid, Spain). We have been learning about ‘sustainable cooking’ and we have made a special recipe in collaboration with our Spanish friends!  Year 6, you are doing a fantastic job as eTwinning journalists!

Year 5 have been learning the Spanish conjugation through their topic: ‘Yo viajo a Barcelona’ (‘I travel to Barcelona’). We have been practising the whole conjugation (singular and plural forms) through some challenges and games, while the ‘Camp Nou’ stadium. and even attending the ‘Balon D’or’ ceremony with famous footballers. Isn’t this fantastic? How do you say: ‘we talk’ ‘you talk’ and ‘they talk’ in Spanish? Remember that the verb ‘to talk’ is ‘hablar’ J

Year 4 have been learning how to express likes and dislikes in relation to actions: ‘Me gusta…’ (to like). We have been practicing through songs, games, iPads and speaking activities… What does ‘Me gusta cantar’ mean in English?

Year 3 pupils have started their new topic: ‘Las frutas’ (The fruits) and they are trying their best while asking/answering questions about quantity. How do you say: ‘twelve bananas’ and ‘thirty apples’? (Remember to add the plural – s at the end of each fruit!).

Year 2 are making a fantastic job while learning school objects. We have been singing the song ‘¿Qué tienes en la mochila?’ (What do you have in your schoolbag?) and playing guessing games to help us remember the new vocabulary. How do you say ‘pencil’ and ruler’ in Spanish?

Year 1 continue learning ‘Los colores’ (colours) through actions.  How do you say ‘white, pink and orange’ in Spanish? ¡Bien hecho chicos y chicas!
